A note about backlighting

Over half of instrument clusters we see for gauge repair have burnt out backlighting that the customer is not aware of. This is something to consider on higher mileage vehicles when you choose your repair option.

Gauge Backlight Replacement:

Burned out bulbs often go unnoticed because the gauge absorbs light from nearby bulbs. Check your instrument cluster at night and see if there are any gauges that appear dimmer than the others. This will indicate bulbs that need to be replaced.
